Readings Summaries

One of the benefits of being a grad student is that I’ve had the opportunity to do a lot of leisure reading. Unfortunately, not everyone has the opportunity to frequently engage in the practice of leisure. A friend of mine once said that it’s important for those granted ample leisure time to create opportunities for others to also participate in this leisure.

So I’ll try to post regularly summaries of books and articles I’m reading. Hopefully, this can give you the opportunity to benefit from what I’m reading, get an overview of some interesting texts, and find books/articles that you may want to read. I’ll update below the books:

Hannah Arendt’s On Revolution.

Alan Bray’s The Friend.

Pavel Florensky’s The Pillar and Ground of the Truth.

Alasdair MacIntyre’s Dependent Rational Animals

Joseph Ratzinger’s Christianity and the Crisis of Cultures.
